What We Do
The Energy Rating Consultancy (ERC) is a comprehensive house energy ratings service accredited by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Victoria. We provide professional energy rating assessment, reporting and certification of proposed residential building designs, existing dwellings, alterations and extensions.
Our aim is to help architects, planners, builders and designers effectively rate their designs based on the 5 Star Rating system and to certify them for construction approval. ERC uses the accredited FirstRate house energy rating tool to accurately evaluate the energy performance of the floor plan or building.
We also assist clients by providing expert design solutions to help achieve a 5 Star Rating on existing plans if they fail to meet legislative standards.
